Business Development Executive (BDE)

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

* Generate new leads through field visits, networking, referrals, tele-calling, events and other business development activities.

* Identify potential customers and acquire new customers within the assigned territory.

* Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing customers.

* Understand customer requirements and provide relevant product information.

* Follow up with leads and convert prospects into customers.

* Achieve assigned sales and customer acquisition targets.

* Participate in branch-level marketing activities, promotional campaigns and customer outreach programs.

* Maintain records of leads, prospects, customer interactions and sales activities.

* Coordinate with internal teams to ensure a smooth customer onboarding experience.

* Understand local market conditions, customer requirements and competitor activities.

* Follow company policies, processes and applicable regulatory guidelines.

Key Requirements

* Graduate or undergraduate in any discipline.

* 1–2 years of experience in Sales, Business Development, Field Sales, BFSI or Customer Acquisition is preferred.

* Freshers with good communication skills and a willingness to build a career in sales can also apply.

* Good communication and interpersonal skills.

* Strong customer-handling, convincing and negotiation abilities.

* Target-oriented and self-motivated approach.

* Willingness to travel within the assigned territory for field activities.

* Knowledge of the local language and local market will be an advantage.

* Basic knowledge of MS Office is preferred
