Salary Management: Review and verify salary details received from the HR department. Ensure the accurate booking and timely payment of salaries. Attendance and Coordination Compliance: Ensure timely compliance with statutory requirements such as Provident Fund (PF), Professional Tax (PT), Employee State Insurance Corporation (ESIC), and Tax Deducted at Source (TDS). Employee Loan Management: Process and clear employee loan applications in accordance with company policies. Payment Verification: Review and verify all payments made to employees before disbursement. Monthly Salary Statements: Prepare monthly comparative salary statements. Provide remarks on any significant salary variations, explaining the reasons for increases or decreases. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Proven experience in payroll management, preferably in a CA firm. Strong knowledge of payroll processes and statutory compliances (PF, PT, ESIC, TDS). Proficiency in payroll software and MS Office, particularly Excel. Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
