Job Description :
The GeM Portal and Tendering Specialist will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing the procurement processes through the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) portal and handling tendering activities. This role requires a detail-oriented and proactive individual who can ensure efficient execution of procurement strategies, compliance with government regulations, and effective management of tendering procedures.
Key Responsibilities: -
1. **GeM Portal Management:
o Oversee the registration and maintenance of the organization’s GeM portal account.
o Manage product and service listings, monitor and update GeM portal to reflect current offerings, troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to the GeM portal, liaising with GeM support when necessary as per GeM Guideline.
2. **Tendering Activities:
o Prepare, review, and submit tenders and bids in accordance with government procurement policies and procedures.
o Develop and maintain a schedule of upcoming tenders and procurement opportunities relevant to the organization.
o Collaborate with internal departments to gather necessary documentation and information for tender submissions.
o Ensure all tender submissions are complete, accurate, and submitted within deadlines.
3. **Compliance and Reporting:
o Maintain detailed records of all tendering and GeM portal activities, including bid documents, correspondence, and compliance reports.
o Generate and review reports related to procurement performance and compliance metrics.
o Prepare Tender Synapsis for quick review.
Qualifications: -
Education: BE/ Btech/ Diploma in Electrial/ Electronics/ Mechanical or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 2/3 years of experience in managing the GeM Portal and e- Proc activities and handling tendering processes.
Skills:
o Proficiency in using the GeM portal and E proc Websites.
o Strong understanding of government procurement regulations and tendering procedures.
o Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
o Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PPT.
